In December of 2021, I retired from public education where I served my last 22 years as a school principal in four different buildings. I have a bachelor's degree in business administration, a master's degree in education administration and community leadership, and a real estate license.

 

In my first career, I helped students prepare and transition from school to college and/or careers. I helped create school cultures of kindness and inspiration. I also gained valuable experience in leadership, negotiation and service. All of these skills have helped me support my real estate clients through successful transactions.

 

When I retired, we moved back home to Evart to be close to our grandchildren. My husband and I are so happy in our little chalet on 10 acres of mostly wooded property that he gets to hunt. We love our family dinners on Sundays and game nights as often as possible. I enjoy making jewelry with my best friend again and baby-sitting for any of my five grandsons as often as possible. Our three cats and two dogs have also nicely settled into our new home.

 

People move for many reasons: a new job, to be closer to family, to get away from family, to fit a growing family or to fit a shrinking family when the nest is empty. I have moved for all of these reasons!
